Round Three Montana vs Appalachian State

The band at halftime ( I didn't want to miss any of this one so I stayed in at half)
Snow on the field
Brrrrr
You just can't beat a night time playoff game!

After the game
We didn't want to leave the stadium so we took a few pictures
Ya gotta love that score

Back to Chatty!! What a night this was. College football at it's best. The crowd was rockin and so was the stadium...literally. Great job fans...24,207, almost a sellout. No one in our section sat down the entire game. Hats off to Appalachian State. It was a hard fought game for both teams. I'm just glad we came out on top. One more game to go....damn it's fun to be a Griz fan. Go get em in Chattanooga Grizzlies!

Round Two Montana vs SFA

A look from the north end zone

Gotta love that score
The Win 51-0

Going into this game I wouldn't have thought the Griz D could completely shut down SFA but I suppose 10 turnovers will do that. Great job defense! Anytime the Griz can put up 51 points their going to win.
Appalachian State is up next. Anyone who is thinking about it please buy a ticket. We really need to sell this one out. It will be one of if not the biggest game in Washington Griz history. One more game to take care of and it's back to Chatty! Go Griz!

A Comeback For the Ages....Montana vs SDSU

Bring em out

A nice day for football
61-48!
at one time in the 3rd quarter it was 21-48
The win!

It's Sunday morning and I'm still not quite sure what to say about the game. I guess I'll just have to leave it at wow. The loudest most exciting game I've ever been to. I have never seen the crowd so into the game. It was just electric and something I will never forget.
Marc Mariani put this team on his shoulders and they never looked back. He came out with fire in his eyes and it must have been contagious. After one of the worst halves of football I've witnessed I watched one on the most amazing. The defense was rock solid, the offense couldn't do anything wrong. I have to say it again.....wow.

Poooooooor Bobcats

There is nothing like football and good food.
Well, once again the Grizzlies have destroyed the hopes and dreams of that other school in Montana. Looks like they'll be home eating leftover turkey while we're playing football next weekend. Oh well, their used to it.
We had a great time watching the game. Great food and good company. Now on to the playoffs!

Mom and Dad

Dawn and Lippy

Hey look...it's Dusty

The win 38-10

Another weekend and another win. That seems to be a recurring theme this year. We had a great time in Missoula as usual and the Griz looked great as usual. Now it's time to get pumped for the annual cat thrashing. Lets smack em around Saturday...pooooor cats. Go Griz!!

Week Seven Montana vs Weber State

The pregame routine
Behind the GSA tailgate
Yosh's first game
Go Chase and TJ
The Win
What can I say...The day started out great with the huge Flag (sorry no picture but I do have video) and the F-15's from Great Falls blazing over the stadium. From there it just got better. Weber suffered a thorough beat down at the hands of the Griz. They thought they belonged...but now they know. The final score was 31-10
Chase had and unreal game..241 yards of which 193 came after halftime. Trumaine Johnson, co player of the game, also came up big with 2 interceptions.
Next up is at Idaho State. Hopefully after next week we're looking at 9-0. Everyone have a good week and go Griz!

On the Field After the Weber Beat Down

The family in the end zone

Michael and Chase
Michael and Peter Nguyen

After the game we headed down on the field to continue the celebration. Michael got to toss his football around on the field and meet a couple players. It's really nice of those guys to take the time to do that.

Week Six Montana vs Eastern Washington

The band's pregame march
Cute pompoms

Someone is in trouble
Go Chase
The Win!

Alright, now it's starting to feel like football season. A close game, the crowd was really in it and the PA was cranked. What a game! It really came down to the wire but the Griz pulled it off against a good Eastern Washington team winning 41-34. Chase Reynolds went up the middle on fourth down to put the Griz up by 7 with 1:18 left in the game. The D held and we have yet another win. Next up is at Sacramento State. Everyone have a good week and go Griz!

Week 5 Montana vs Cal Poly---Homecoming---

A very cold pregame
Dawn, her friend Lisa and I
Hand off to Chase
Griz Vision says it all
The win! 35-23

Another Homecoming in the books and another win. It wasn't the prettiest of games but a win is a win. Hopefully the Griz can get things cleaned up a bit for next weekend. Wow was the wind cold when we got out of the truck Saturday morning. It felt more like Great Falls weather. Luckily it warmed up just a bit for the game. We had a great time as usual and it was nice to meet Dawn's friend who is visiting from California. With the Bobcats and Eastern losing today it looks like the Grizzlies are back where they belong atop the Big Sky standings. Next up is Eastern Washington. It should be a good one...they usually play tough in Missoula. Everyone have a great week and Go Griz!

Week 3 Montana vs. Portland State

Pregame refreshments
Benny showed up today

Michael
The Win!
A nice view of the stadium

Another gorgeous day in Missoula and another win for the Grizzlies. After a slow start the Griz really poured it on and ended up winning 49-17. Better luck next year Glanville. Andrew Selle looked good today so hopefully we'll have a starter now. I would imagine if Roper isn't hurt too badly they will do the rotation thing again though. Mariani was his usual play making self although he was robbed of one TD by a bad call. All in all a great game. Next up is a road game at NAU. Go get em Griz!
